Yes, these are discounted membership rates for Founding members only and will be locked for lifetime for those members.  After the doors open, membership rates will be increasing for all new members after that point.

Anyone signing up for a membership prior to our launch date on Sept 1st will not be charged again for the monthly renewal until Oct 1st.

The location will only be sent privately to attendees.  The space is located in the North Jackson area.

We will have Club Monitors (please see above for volunteering information), a security code lock at the door, mandatory modules, applications, a membership handbook, and more to ensure that our space is safe and secure.

No, the Club will NOT accept walk-ins for play parties to ensure that members are safe and vetted.  Non-members will be allowed to attend Light track (non-play) events.  Membership will be required for Shadow track (play) events.

Memberships will be open to anyone 21+, regardless of relationship status, and regardless if you're into kink, BDSM, polyamory, ENM, queer, or curious.

No, we do not take cash.  Due to the nature of our vetting process, all of our membership options and events are cash-only and can only be signed up for online.

To maintain appropriate professional boundaries and prevent ethical conflicts of interest, clinical clients of Equinox Counseling are permitted to attend select public, light-track events—such as community meets and educational workshops—hosted at or affiliated with Youngstown After Dark.

Mandatory Consultation & Confidentiality

Prior to attending any light-track event, clients must engage in a conversation with their clinician to outline clear expectations, boundary protocols, and mutual understanding. Your clinician will strictly respect your confidentiality and privacy in all shared space settings; to safeguard your privacy, your clinician will not initiate contact or acknowledge the therapeutic relationship in community environments.

Membership & Restricted Access Prohibitions

Clients are strictly prohibited from becoming formal members of Youngstown After Dark, applying for membership, or attending any members-only events, private hours, or restricted gatherings for the duration of clinical care and for a minimum of five years following the termination of therapy.

Attempting to obtain membership, attending restricted members-only events, or failing to adhere to pre-established boundary agreements creates an unresolvable dual relationship. Such actions will require immediate clinical reassessment, revocation of venue access, and potential termination of the therapeutic relationship with appropriate external referral.
